Sewage Clean Up

A home owner in Castaic, CA called SERVPRO of Burbank when a toilet overflowed spilling sewage throughout their bathroom, vanity area, bedroom and game room. The overflow damaged drywall, carpet and flooring. SERVPRO of Burbank began by setting up plastic containment around the bathroom and placed dehumidifiers to stabilize the environment and begin the drying process. In the bathroom and below the vanity, we removed the damaged drywall and wire brushed the studs. SERVPRO of Burbank applied a disinfectant and did a final wipe down to the studs. We removed the damaged flooring and applied a disinfectant to the sub-floor. Once all of the materials were dry, we removed the containment and equipment. The home owner was thrilled to call her contractor to finish the job!
