Rain Water Damage

A lobby in a Los Angeles, CA residential building was soaked when a window leaked during heavy rains. Many homeowners began complaining to their HOA as the water damage spread through the heavy foot-traffic area. The HOA board contacted SERVPRO of Burbank to clean up the mess and assess the damage. We arrived and after removing the carpet found visible mold growth on the carpet pad, baseboards and drywall. Our team set-up containment and removed the damaged materials. After our machines dried the remainder of wet affected areas, we installed new carpeting and disinfected the space. Within one week the entire common area was back to working order and several of the homeowners thanked the HOA for bringing in SERVPRO of Burbank to clean up the mess!
