Toilet Water Damage

Homeowner’s in Castaic, CA called SERVPRO of Burbank when their toilet backed up causing water damage throughout the upstairs, running into the hallway, bathroom and finally seeping through the downstairs ceiling. Our technicians found the drywall, wood vanity, ceiling and vinyl/carpet flooring had suffered major water damage. SERVPRO of Burbank removed the wet materials including vinyl, carpet and pads from all areas that were effected and applied anti-microbial to those remaining materials. Next, we removed affected drywall and ceiling materials and placed dehumidifiers to dry out the remaining materials.  SERVPRO of Burbank continued into the bathroom removing he vanity, baseboards, drywall and ceiling. We then placed HEPA vacuums in the upstairs bathroom and the downstairs family room, bathroom and hallway. After finding the machines were effective, SERVPRO of Burbank removed all the equipment and the homeowner’s were thrilled they could now contact their contractor to finish the job and get their home back!
