Storm water damage mold

A Glendale, CA property manager called SERVPRO of Burbank when a tenant complained about wet carpeting and a mildew smell in their home. Upon arrival SERVPRO of Burbank discovered an entire bedroom wall and carpeting that suffered water damage from a bedroom window hit hard by recent rains. SERVPRO of Burbank removed the carpeting for drying and set up containment due to the presence of mold. After removing the entire bedroom wall, we disinfected and cleaned the framing and the carpeting. After the carpet was dry and clean, we reinstalled it. SERVPRO of Burbank resolved this disaster within 8 days and this bedroom was ready for a contractor to complete. The tenants were grateful the problem was resolved so quickly!
