Broke Pipe Water Damage

A property owner in Woodland Hills, CA called SERVPRO of Burbank when a pipe burst, flooding this retail space. We arrived on the scene and began extracting the standing water. We found that the plaster walls were wet and placed dehumidifiers to stabilize the environment and prevent secondary mold damage. SERVPRO of Burbank then detached the built-in cabinets and removed part of the wet plaster walls. We wiped down the affected studs and applied a disinfectant. After finding that the vinyl flooring contained asbestos, the property owner scheduled an abatement company to remove them and SERVPRO of Burbank was finished with our portion of the work!
