Wall Cavity Mold Damage

What started as a small plumbing issue quickly escalated once the plumber fixed the ongoing leak from the sewage line. As soon as SERVPRO of Burbank arrived to the scene, building material had already begun breaking down due to the amount of mold growth present. Working with both the unit owner’s property management company and insurance carrier, we quickly got to work. Using cutting edge remediation tactics, we not only built containment to confine the spread of mold spores during remediation, we also set up air scrubbing equipment to properly clean the air and ensure safety for all occupants. In order to properly address mold growth the structural components of the building, we used a plant-based microbial solution called Benefect on the wood frame and wall cavities. The wall is now ready for the contractor to patch up.
