Sink leak water damage

A homeowner in Valencia, CA called SERVPRO of Burbank after noticing a musty smell in his kitchen. Upon inspection, our team found the leak had damaged the island cabinets and drywall and the surrounding vinyl floors. SERVPRO of Burbank began by removing the countertop, island drywall and affected cabinetry. Next, we removed the affected vinyl flooring and baseboards and set up a dehumidifier to stabilize the environment and dry out materials overnight. Upon return we found the remaining materials were dry. SERVPRO of Burbank completed the job by disinfecting the entire area. The homeowner was thrilled he could now call his contractor to come out and finish the work!
